Discussions
- Collect current information and circulate a proposal by email
- Platform License Proposals
- Apache 2.0
- There is a proposal made within WP5: Apache 2.0
- Apache 2.0 may be too open
- Apache 2.0 permits to make commercial uses of such license
- It's very compatible with other licenses so that we don't limit the partners to use other libraries
- LGPL
- It gives a bit more control to the developers
- Apache 2.0
- Plug-ins Licenses
- We need to provide some guidelines for plug-in developers
- The licenses should be compatible with the platform
- The table from HLRS is nice for this
- Data Licenses
- If the use case partners can release data, the CC licenses may be the ideal solution
- Application Licenses
- This is strictly dependent on the use case partners
- ACTION ITEM: CYCEUR to send an email with their proposals
