1. Towards R2.0
- Wrap-up Ljubljana coding workshop
- We came up with a slightly modified (simplified) architecture (see previous email sent by Christoph)
- The plug-in API has been finally redesigned
?PluginManagers are not bound to plug-ins anymore. There are only 3 for different purposes left (Local, Remote, Parallel)
- Any development progress?
Executor (STI)
- Can now process an RDF WF description
Executors are now managing the endpoints -> there can be multiple endpoints per WF
Mgmt interface (STI)
- Work is still ongoing
- First (simple) implementation ready by end of this week
Multi-threading (HLRS)
- Implementation finished
- First version supports multiple instances per plug-in and a simple workflow branching
Parallel PM (HLRS)
- Working is still ongoing
Hadoop integration (VUE)
- Work is still ongoing
- First (simple) implementation ready by end of this week
- Still problems with connection to HLRS cluster
