WP2: steps to achieve tighter integration
News
- Wiki pages for exchanging ideas about:
We organized a telco on 27th October, 13:00-14:00 CET to get together WP2, WP3 and WP7a. See agenda and minutes here. In brief we discussed:
- how can we apply ML to selection
- how we could evaluate results on the AZ usecase
Introduction
This page serves for exchanging the ideas on integration which we have started to discuss in Berlin.
See our current integration plan, including descriptions of below phases.
Some ideas from the discussion in Berlin (WP2+WP3+WP7a) available here.
All partners are invited to add more content to this page.

Phase 1 Clarifications and understanding (WP2+WP3+WP4)
What is RDF Molecule?
In an RDF graph, we can consider the collection of triples describing a specific, resource node (i.e. a resource identified with a URI, not a blank node or literal). This collection is referred to as a molecule. For a node S, this collection represents:
- all statements where S is the subject (i.e. outgoing arcs) - this is called the immediate neighbourhood
in the cases where a statement from those above has a blank node as an object (e.g. $<S, ..., blank-node>$), its immediate neighbourhood is also added to
- the molecule, so, the molecule expands recursively over blank nodes.
In other words, the molecule of node S is the part of the graph that you can reach following all paths in the graph, starting from S, until you reach non-blank nodes. The notion is sensible because blank nodes are auxiliary nodes for things that are hard to express in triples. For more see D2.2.1. Section 1.1.
Phase 2 Understanding the usecases (WP2+WP7a+b)
Some initial scenarios:
