4. Discussion: Consolidate items 1 to 3
- "We don't know, what we don't know".
- General feeling that it is difficult to make progress, because:
- Plug-in language (parameters) that we need depend on what meta-reasoning activities we need to do.
- Meta-reasoning activities (other than selecting plug-ins) not clear (yet).
- Formalism depends somewhat on what remote invocation technology we will use - no decision yet from WP5
DECISION: Use terminology "Non-functional properties" instead of "quality of service parameters".
DECISION: Start with a minimal set of terminology and add to this. Will use list compiled by HLRS that was the product of a meeting in Innsbruck some months ago.
DECISION: Will use WSMO-Lite service ontology (very light-weight) and build functional and non-functional parameters on top of this.
DECISION: Even though there has been no decision on remote invocation technology (WP5) we will proceed with WSMO-Lite as annotation formalism.
ACTION: Barry (UIBK) to arrange teleconference to finalise fn/non-fn parameters and embed in WSMO-Lite service ontology, by before end next week.
ACTION: UIBK to create WSMO-Lite descriptions of existing plug-ins, by <discuss in teleconference>
ACTION: CyC to use new plug-in descriptions in meta-reasoning, by <discuss in teleconference>
5. Max Planck changes to DoW
- Would like to transfer some (possibly all effort to WP4), but depends on T1.4 and how D1.4.1 is interpreted
6. Detailed discussion of next deliverables and responsibilities
- Only confusing issue is D1.4.1 (see below)
7. Clarification of T1.4 (status of D1.4.1)
ACTION: Gaston (VUA) to tackle D1.4.1 and communicate with MPI (and other partners if appropriate) to establish input and report plans to WP1 leader, by next plenary meeting
ACTION: Hans (MPI) to report to on what effort is to be moved to WP4, by next plenary (after discussing D1.4.1 with VUA)
